Hello, I’m Kevin McKinney
I have over 10 years of professional IT experience and have served the field in a variety of ways. Before moving to Anderson in July of 2022, I served as the Assistant Director of IT for Columbia International University in Columbia, SC. There I oversaw and participated in many projects including: implementation of a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi system, negotiating and installing a large print network. Updating existing phone lines with a new VOIP solution and upfitting a new backbone network. Previous to my Assistant Direct role, I worked as a computer technician on Macs and PCs and served as a Systems Administrator.
For the past 4 years I’ve enjoyed my time working at Clemson University as a consultant to the president, VPs and board members. Also, currently as the IT Manager for Redfern at Clemson. There I oversee a team to provide great IT solutions for our student body in a medical setting.
When I’m not working on computers I enjoy spending time with my wife, Anne and our two sons Sam & Luke. We are active members in our local church, Grace Fellowship of Anderson.
